DAVA – Supporting Those Who ServeThe Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary (DAVA) is an essential partner in the mission to support disabled veterans and their families. As the auxiliary arm of the DAV, DAVA members dedicate themselves to advocacy, outreach, and compassionate service, ensuring that no veteran or family member feels forgotten. Billerica Access Television (BATV) is honored to work alongside the members of DAVA Chapter 47, highlighting their commitment to community and care. Our collaborations have included:
Collaborating on DAVA-led community service projects, including care package drives and support events for local veterans.
Providing a space for DAVA monthly meetings held at 9:00am on the third Saturday of each month, September - June.
Producing feature segments on the impact of auxiliary programs and the dedicated women and families behind them.
Promoting awareness campaigns on issues affecting veterans’ families and caregivers.
Providing a platform for DAVA leadership to share resources, initiatives, and advocacy efforts with the broader Billerica audience.
Through our partnership with DAVA, BATV helps extend the reach of this vital support network and ensures that the families and caregivers of our veterans receive the recognition and assistance they deserve.
