The Bluebird Restoration Project - June 2024 Bluebird Cam
Summer has arrived and we're hoping to capture footage of Bluebird nest-building behaviors. The camera box has been moved to Jim's yard and we are now seeing Bluebird activity in the nest box. The pair look like they are scouting our box as a home for their second brood. It looks like they have won a territorial dispute with the Wren. Fingers crossed!!!
June 19 - House Hunting
The happy couple are checking out Billerica's real estate. It's clear they love the neighborhood: Great restaurants (caterpillars à la carte), helpful neighbors (Jim the Bluebird Guy), good Flyability score (suburban amenities with lots of open recreational space), and great schools (i.e. Bluebird Memorial High School, Songbird Tech). We hope they move in and start a family!
