If you missed the season finale of Jack Morris Live, you can still catch it on VOD below. 3 teams of students battled Billerica Superintendent, Tim Piwowar in a trivia extravaganza! All the participants looked like they had a blast and it was very nice to hear so much laughter flooding out of the studio. Congrats to all for a fun and successful season finale!

Looking to learn some new video skills this summer? Nancy has 2 great workshops coming up in early July.

July 1st at 7pm - On Screen Acting Workshop: Learn on-camera acting techniques and improvisational exercises to help members become confident and creative in front of the camera.     

July 8th at 7pm - Interview Etiquette and Techniques: Tips and tricks on how to conduct successful interviews for documentary and news style pieces.

BATV's Summer 2014 Youth Programs are here! There will be three different workshops during July and August for current Youth Club members and new youth members to participate in. We will explore filmmaking, studio projects, and there will be an intro course for anyone new to BATV or who simply needs a refresher on utilizing BATV equipment.

If you would like to sign up, please email [email protected] with “BATV Summer Program” as the subject line. Within the body of your email, please include the name of the workshop(s) you are registering for and the name of the individual that will be attending the workshop(s). Upon receiving your email, a response will be sent to you with forms that will need to be filled out and returned to BATV to complete the registration process. If signing up for the intro/refresher camp, simply add “INTRO” to the start of that previously stated subject line.

Summer Program Dates:

Film Workshop: July 14 - July 18, 2:00pm-5:00pm
Kids experience the process of casting and developing a movie, script writing basics, and switch roles each day in production of the film; directing, acting, camera work, and all the other aspects of film!


Studio Workshop: July 21 - July 25, 1:00pm-4:00pm
Each day a new studio production! Game Shows! Talk Shows! Variety, Comedy, News, Cooking! Participants learn the ins and outs of studio production and get to produce a variety of fun multi camera projects together.


Intro/Refresher Workshop: August 18 - August 22, 2:00pm-4:00pm
Great for new members, or anyone who wants a better grasp on the use of BATV facilities and cameras. Participants learn to operate HD Cameras, studio equipment, edit on Adobe Premiere and more.
