BATV Annual Meeting - March 16, 2017

​Billerica Access Television’s Annual Meeting of the Membership is scheduled for Thursday, March 16, 2017. The event will be held at the Courtyard by Marriott, 270 Concord Road in Billerica, MA. Hors D’oeuvres and cash bar begin at 7:00 pm; the business meeting and dinner will follow.
 
​We are pleased to announce that Patrick Pho, former BATV member and part-time employee, will be our Keynote Speaker.

Patrick first picked up a camera in fifth grade and hasn't put it down since. A social media aficionado, he hand-coded his first website before he was old enough to drive and continues to explore how technology and other trends are changing the landscape for Generation-Y and beyond. A PR/Marketing/Social Media veteran, he helps brands tell their story with his experience as both a media maker and a communications practitioner.

Patrick's work has been featured in The Washington City Paper, The Washington Post Express, CNN, Newschannel 8 Washington, and NBC Washington, among other media outlets.

In the past, Patrick has worked with major brands and non-profit organizations, including General Motors, Chrysler, 3M, Stride Rite, Hallmark, Arm & Hammer, NIVEA, Diageo Wines, Time Warner Cable, the Bowl Championship Series, The NFLPA, The United Way, and The NEA.

In 2007, he worked on Chevrolet’s Super Bowl College Ad Challenge campaign, which resulted in one of the first ever consumer-inspired Super Bowl Ads.

Patrick has been trusted to produce real-time social media content for events including photo/video coverage of the North American International Auto Show, NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, and the Bowl Championship Series National Championship Game.

As a local blogger, he has covered some of The District's biggest arts and entertainment events, including various television and movie premieres, the 2009 & 2013 Presidential Inaugurations. For three seasons Patrick also served as a beat writer covering the Washington Wizards.  As a local blogger he has teamed up with brands including Sony and Warby Parker to create custom consumer content for them.

He currently works on the Marketing team of Volkswagen of America, where he leads Video Content Production. His leadership and strategy there has resulted in three straight years of triple-digit growth in video views for the company.

​Originally from the Boston area, Patrick currently resides in the Washington, DC area where he enjoys watching the locals freak out over weather in the winter.


​In addition to the Keynote Speaker, officer reports and dinner, individuals nominated and elected by the Board of Directors to serve on the Board of Directors will be introduced. The following individuals were nominated.

No member nominated himself / herself or another to be elected to the Board of Directors by the membership, therefore, there will not be an election at the Annual Meeting.
