Please join us on Thursday, May 28, 7:00pm at Billerica Access Television, Inc. (BATV) and welcome former BATV Programming Coordinator Ms. Christina Skillman (8/99 - 4/07) as she shares her story of leaving BATV to establish Skillman Video Group, LLC (SVG).

Ms. Skillman (Founder, CEO and Creative Director at Skillman Video Group) has over seven years experience in the local Cable Television Industry and a background in corporate video and documentary production. Inspired by the success of her first documentary production in the United Kingdom, "Billericay, England" (for which she won a national award in 2003) Christina started Skillman Video Group, LLC from a Somerville apartment in 2005. Using the burgeoning tools of the internet to recruit prospective businesses and organizations, SVG has evolved into an international video production company.  SVG has created video content for local Boston and New England clientele as well as national, and even international audiences.

After working with clients such as Yamaha and Gillette, word about SVG spread. From the onset, SVG prided itself on a personal touch. Christina's focus on building strong and lasting client relationships has undoubtedly contributed to SVG's rapid growth. SVG has since relocated to new offices in the heart of downtown Boston.

In addition to her award for the documentary "Billericay, England", Christina won two Awards at the 2009 New England Legal Marketing Association "Your Honor" Awards sponsored by the Wall Street Journal. In 2014, Skillman Video Group, LLC was selected as the "2014 Best Business of Boston" in the category of Video/Film Production by the Best Businesses of Boston Award Program.

Ms. Skillman is a member of the MIT Enterprise Forum and the Boston Chamber of Commerce. Christina has a Bachelor of Science degree in Television, Radio & Film Production from Syracuse University, Newhouse School of Communications.
