YOUR VOICE MATTERS - USE IT!

Hello Members, Volunteers, Staff and Friends of BATV,

Below is a template for a letter to the Massachusetts State House to support my local community media center - BATV! Also attached is a picture of Nancy, Jamie, Tara and Charlie along with the rest of BATV Staff have all mailed our own letters via US Mail. Will you do the same for BATV?

In two weeks, David Gauthier, the President of MassAccess will testify before the MA State Legislature in support of legislation that will help fund our industry. Not only does the Joint Committee need to hear from you directly, but David really wants to be holding a physical stack of letters showing how much support we have.

HERE'S ALL YOU NEED TO DO:
1. Write a letter. Use ours as a template if you like, and add why BATV is important to you.
2. Mail it via USPS this week to:

3. Email a copy of your letter to Tara@Batvinc.org , so she can forward it to David for the presentation.

Your letter, which signifies your support, just might be what ensures BATV can operate well into the future. So we can continue to bring you local shows produced by local citizens; over 400 yearly hours of live government meetings; school sports and concerts; the Yankee Doodle Parade; COA programming, Nonprofit promotion and much, much more.

DON'T DELAY. WE PRESENT TO THE LEGISLATURE IN JUST 2 WEEKS.

I know I've asked you for letters like this before. But, the legislation – while very much alive – is still not passed. If you want more information, below you will also find a  fact sheet explaining the legislation.  We will also happily mail your letter for you. Email or bring it to BATV today!
